Martin Parrs Nature Pictures

Hi. Welcome and thanks for visiting. I've been building the site since Sept 2006 and it's a work in progress. My aim is to get the best pics I can of as many species as possible - birds, insects, animals and plants. As you work through the folders and sub folders, click on each picture to get a "Lightbox" view and some notes.

I have just added a "Latest pics" page - where I can post the new ones without waiting ages to reorganise the correct pages they will eventually sit under - so check there first for updates. And there's a mixed set of my favorites under Miscellaneous. There's a new Breaks page, (Norfolk 09 - under "breaks") with pics from our February trip there, The Break pages cover all species and a few views from our holidays.

The Birds, Bugs, Beasts and Botany pages cover different families. The Bugs are bang up to date - butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies, shieldbugs and ladybirds pages. I've also refreshed the Waders and Wildfowl pages, under Birds - and am starting on the rest! There's just a few beasts and plants so far - lots still to do!

The picture below is a Red Kite. Taken in May 2009 in Wales. I've just added a break page - and theres a few more in "Latest", along with a Heath fritillary from Essex.
